Demonstration Preschool Teacher

We have an immediate opening for a Preschool Teacher in our Demonstration Preschool. This is a full-time year-round position. The successful candidate must have experience in the implementation of the HighScope Curriculum. A valid Michigan teaching certificate and an Early Childhood Education (ZA) or Early Childhood General and Special Education (ZS) endorsement or a bachelor’s degree in early childhood or child development with a specialization in preschool teaching is required. Substitute Teachers and Substitute Teacher Assistants

HighScope is currently seeking substitute teachers and substitute teacher assistants for our full-day demonstration preschool program in Ypsilanti, MI. The substitute will work closely with the classroom teachers to implement the curriculum. Substitute teachers must have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education/child development. Substitute teacher assistants must have a CDA/Associates degree in early childhood education. Experience with the HighScope Curriculum is preferred. Early Math Education Specialist

We are currently seeking an Early Math Education Specialist who will serve as a coach, resource and advisor in Early Childhood Mathematics. This individual will work to ensure that HighScope’s math curriculum is research-based, validated and differentiated to meet diverse preschool student’s needs. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, teaching, curriculum and instruction or related field. Early Childhood Center Manager

Come join our team as an Early Childhood Center Manager! The Manager will oversee HighScope’s full-day preschool program and efficiently lead, coach, and support the preschool staff. As our preschool and campus continue to grow, the ECCM’s focus, dedication, and expertise will be an integral part of its success. The individual will serve as a thought partner, parent collaborator, compliance official, team leader, and early childhood teaching authority. Qualified candidates will have an M.S. in school administration, educational leadership or early childhood education, a valid Michigan teacher certificate with 5+ years of successful preschool or elementary teaching experience, and completion of a 20+ semester hours of graduate credit in a state-approved program in school administration or early childhood programming. Marketing Digital Specialist

We currently have an opening for a Marketing Digital Specialist who will work on a variety of projects involved in website development and design. The Digital Specialist will be responsible for helping to design and oversee the user interface and overall customer experience for our websites and applications. This includes overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements. Will also work on other electronic publications as required. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience in web-based graphic design or web interface design. Sr. Director of Early Childhood and Applied Practice (ECAP)

We are currently seeking a Sr. Director of Early Childhood and Applied Practice (ECAP) to begin in 2019. The Sr. Director will be responsible for the direction and administration of the Early Childhood and Professional Learning activities. The individual in this role will provide intellectual leadership in the development of the early childhood curriculum; write about early childhood curriculum topics; make presentations at conferences and other venues; supervise department staff in their development of curriculum and training materials, and implement projects including training contracts and grants. Advanced degree in early childhood education, developmental psychology, educational psychology, child and family development, family support, curriculum development, adult learning (teacher-education), or related field required. Chief Financial Officer

We have an immediate need for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a member of the executive team, the individual in this role will plan, direct, and control all fiscal activities, develop budgets and forecasts, oversee financial audits, prepare financial reports, serve as a member of the executive team, supervise staff, and perform related work as required. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. A C.P.A. is preferred, M.B.A. is highly desired.
