Educational Services Supervisor
We are currently seeking an Educational Services Supervisor who will be responsible for the promotion and implementation of HighScope’s educational services. Responsibilities include identifying new potential consumer organizations, developing and maintaining relations with new and existing customers, developing training contracts, developing and promoting HighScope services and products, keeping informed on state and federal initiatives, supporting RFP submissions and requirements, and supervising the Educational Services team and external field consultants. A Bachelor’s Degree in business, education, or related field is required; Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of proven success in promoting and selling programs; educational sales experience is strongly desired. Must also have 3+ years professional experience building and leading a team. The ability to provide quality leadership and the ability to create and sustain partnerships internally and externally is essential. Exceptional communications skills; persuasion, public speaking skills are necessary. Experience with Quick Base, Microsoft CRM, and Advance 360 and eTools website building software preferred. We are also seeking a Publications Editor who will be responsible for preparing, rewriting, editing, and proofreading copy for all print and digital/online materials, including books, magazines, proposals, research reports, training materials, and marketing and development content. The Publications Editor is also responsible for following projects/products through the design, production, and publication process. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, English, publishing and/or related field is required. 2+ years of experience in book (preferred), magazine, or newspaper publishing is also required. Some education background/experience and knowledge of Spanish is preferred. Must be familiar with publishing procedures for books and other media and have extensive copyediting and substantive editing skills plus writing ability demonstrated by published works. We have an opening in our Center for Early Education Research and Evaluation (CEERE) for a Project Manager. The role will primarily be on a grant awarded to HighScope from the US Department of Education Investing in Innovation (i3) grant: Supporting Preschool and Kindergarten Students’ Self-Regulation through HighScope Curriculum Enhancements: Plan-Do-Review and Conflict Resolution. Some responsibilities include managing the day-to-day research and evaluation operations, including planning and budgeting; creating and managing protocols and schedules and creating surveys in Qualtrics. Will also assist with child/parent, teacher, and school recruitment and retention; coordinate and lead meetings and contribute to writings and publications as well as to presentations for professional meetings and conferences. A B.S. in a relevant field required. M.S. and/or certification in Project Management a plus. Must be proficient in the use and understanding of statistical analysis packages (e.g., SPSS), electronic survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics), and database management (e.g., Microsoft Access). We have a secondary opening in our Center for Early Education Research and Evaluation (CEERE) for a Post-Doc Scholar to begin in July of 2020. This role is also based on the i3 grant. Some responsibilities include managing communication with the federal project officer; observing coaches and teachers in the classroom and troubleshooting challenges in fidelity of implementation and leading meetings with district administrators, teachers, and project partners. Will also code and analyze quantitative and qualitative data; lead and contribute to writings and publications, and lead and contribute to presentations at professional meetings and conferences; and grant writing. A Ph.D. in developmental psychology, early childhood education, or related field desired. ABD will be considered. Must have experience conducting research in childcare centers and/or schools, particularly in low-income, urban communities.
