This HighScope-funded project led to the development of a two-part kindergarten assessment consisting of a kindergarten entry assessment (KEA) and a yearlong ongoing assessment. After development, the instrument was validated during a year-long pilot study. During the 2016–2017 school year, states, districts, and schools participated in HighScope’s COR for Kindergarten Implementation Study. COR for Kindergarten became commercially available after the completion of the study.
