Alison Mokry has dedicated over 20 years to early childhood education, holding various roles in teaching, coaching, and leadership across general and special education settings. A lifelong learner, she earned a master’s degree in special education in 2013 and a second master’s degree in instructional leadership in 2018. Alison joined HighScope in 2022 and currently serves as an early childhood specialist in the Early Childhood Development department. Beyond her professional role, she actively serves her community through volunteer work with Early Matters San Antonio and the San Antonio chapter of Texas AEYC. Her career remains focused on ensuring that children of all abilities and backgrounds have access to environments where they are free to make decisions, discover, and learn. Alison lives in Texas with her husband and their two sons.
