HighScope Research

We are driven by the belief that early access to high-quality education sets children on a trajectory to success. That’s why our research focuses on revealing the key factors of early education practice and policy that improve outcomes for children, families, and communities. We are committed to helping the field understand how to best facilitate children’s current and long-term success.

Our research has demonstrated that a high-quality early education results in positive long-term and intergenerational outcomes. For over 50 years, we have worked side-by-side with programs around the world to ensure that every teacher is supported and every child can thrive. This conviction for equity is at the center of our research, which continues to lead the national discourse on early childhood education.
