This one-week learning event is the fourth part of a four-week course designed to provide learners with a foundational understanding of the HighScope Infant-Toddler Curriculum and support teachers in implementing the curriculum in the classroom with their children. Upon successful completion of this learning event, including daily readings, assignments, and Check My Understanding quizzes, participants will receive 3.05 CEUs and a certificate of completion.
By the end of this learning event, learners will be able to:
- Identify the Key Developmental Indicators and supportive interaction strategies in the domain of Cognitive Development.
- Write objective evidence/anecdotes to accurately score the Infant and Toddler Program Quality Assessment.
- Identify strategies for creating effective teams, sharing team responsibilities, and building effective caregiver-parent partnerships.
Learner Requirements:
Learners are required to participate in all Zoom sessions and activities. Learners will complete a Check My Understanding quiz each day and will need to achieve a score 80% or higher for successful course completion. Upon successful completion of this learning event, learners will receive IACET CEUs and a certificate of completion.
Important Information….
- Course Registration closes two weeks before classes start. Late registrations cannot be accepted.
- If paying by PO, please complete online registration for all of your participants, and send in a copy of your web order with your PO to fulfillment@highscope.org.
- Participants will receive their welcome email with login instructions 1-2 days before class starts.
- Please provide a current email address to enable course communication.
- HighScope will grant refunds (minus the cost of student materials) to students only if they withdraw from the course prior to its start. Cancellation must be received by email to fulfillment@highscope.org.
