After spending 16 years as an Early Childhood teacher, Kindergarten teacher, and school administrator where she developed workshops and training programs for experienced and novice teachers while also supporting teachers to address challenging behaviors in the classroom, Ashley joined HighScope in 2019. She began as a contracted coach supporting HighScope’s Invensting in Innovation grant funded project and in 2020 Ashley’s role grew into the lead PreK trainer and mentor coach for the project as she helped redevelop trainings to meet the needs of schools during the pandemic and trained new coaches and teachers. Currently, Ashley continues her contract work with HighScope as a Research and Development Specialist where she recently represented HighScope as a speaker at multiple early childhood conferences and supports multiple projects that include child assessments, development, and research.
