HighScope Classroom Assessment
HighScope’s comprehensive classroom assessment tools examine all aspects of early childhood classroom quality, reflecting research-based and field-tested “best practices” in early education. Our tools identify structural characteristics and dynamic relationships that best promote the development of young children; they also provide data to be used in ongoing coaching and training for improvement. They focus on helping educators implement effective learning environments, consistent yet flexible daily routines, supportive relationships, data-driven curriculum planning and child assessment, partnerships with families, and foster improvement of staff and program management.
