Kenneth Sherman

Educational and Professional Development Director

Kenneth Sherman is the Educational and Professional Development Director, in addition to the Chief Academic Officer of HighScope’s San Antonio Hub of Excellence in San Antonio, Texas. Kenneth joined HighScope in 2014 as a HighScope Demonstration Preschool teacher and an Early Childhood Specialist. He has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher of young children and has been a center director, mentor teacher, coach, and trainer. Kenneth has presented at numerous state and local conferences and developed customized trainings for early childhood programs around the United States and in Europe. He currently serves on several committees in Texas that focus on race and equity. Kenneth holds a master’s degree in early childhood and a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
