Dr. Adam LeRoy is a Senior Researcher on the Research, Evaluation, and Development (RED) Team at HighScope. With over 20 years of experience in education, Adam began his career as a special education teacher and earned his Ph.D. from Oakland University in 2022. His research centers on early intervention, literacy, qualitative development, and cultural-historical theory. Dr. LeRoy’s work explores how young children develop inner speech and how early literacy instruction can be shaped to better support diverse learners. He brings a strong focus on research methodology to his projects and is passionate about bridging theory and practice to inform high-quality early childhood education.
