2022 HIGHSCOPE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Are you implementing any COVID-19 prevention measures?

Yes. The health and safety of conference attendees, panelists, and staff members is our highest priority. We plan on delivering the same quality of active, hands-on sessions as previous conferences, with the added confidence of industry-leading hygiene practices.

Will I need to show proof of vaccination for COVID-19?

You will need to show either proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or a negative test (PCR or antigen) at check-in.

Entry Option #1: Vaccination. An individual must present proof of vaccination by a COVID-19 vaccination approved by the CDC. Individuals are considered to be fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series or 14 days after receiving a single dose vaccine. Individuals choosing this entry option must present a paper vaccination card or show a photo of a vaccination card upon check-in at the event registration desk.

Entry Option #2: Negative test. To use this entry option, individuals must present negative results for an FDA-approved COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen). The COVID-19 test results must show documentation that the test was taken no more than 72 hours prior to check-in at event registration. There are multiple testing sites within a few miles of the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, including a list which can be found below.

Will I be required to wear a mask?

Yes, masks will be required at all conference sessions and events, and in common areas.

Will there be social distancing?

We will be implementing modified room layouts for social distancing. This includes limiting attendance and reducing seating capacities. These modifications have been made prior to opening sessions for registration.
