This online course will define the two types of infant and toddler group times, but will focus mainly on the basics of movement and music group times. Each week covers specific content centered around fostering active learning movement and music experiences for all infants and toddlers (e.g., the importance of group times; applying active learning in group times; strategies for building choice into group times; thinking about spontaneous group times; identifying and planning around the key developmental indicators; incorporating children’s cultures into group times).
